Biswanath College of Education is a college situated in Biswanath Chariali of Assam, a state of India. Biswanath College of Education was established in 1992 as a result of relentless effort of some farsighted people of Biswanath Chariali. It is one of the premier teacher training institute in Biswanath District offering B.Ed and D.EL.Ed course. The college is recognized by NCTE and is affiliated to Gauhati University with an intake of 100 for B.Ed and 50 for D.El.Ed course.
Biswanath College of Education has been performing tremendously well on the academic front since its establishment and is also trying to fulfill the needs of the aspiring students.The college has an adequate number of competent and dedicated teacher educators in the teaching staff and since its establishment the college has been delivering need based and quality education for the last 32 years to the pre-service teachers of Assam at large. Apart from that the college has other adequate infrastructural facilities including a spacious library with all necessary text-books and reference books. The College also has attractive building with plenty of rooms for different classes. It also has a ICT lab, a psychological lab with well equipped facilities and a conference hall for organizing various activities in the college.
The college excels academically in every aspect despite various challenges. We are proud of our students achievements and hope we can continue our good work to provide quality education, thriving with community support.
